Derief Paul Johnson Managing Director
Derief-Paul is the Managing Director of DPJ Capital Advisory based in London, United Kingdom. Previously he held the position of Managing Partner at Hush Global Inc a venture capital fund based in Toronto, Canada. He has over 30 years working in high finance in the city of London's financial district. He started his career at the Bank of Credit & Commerce International (BCCI) overseeing term deposit accounts for UHNWI's based in the UAE. He then spent seven years based in the volatile ‘open outcry’ futures trading pits of the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) and the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), which lead to him acquiring advanced extensive knowledge in developing and implementing trading strategies using energy futures and options forward contracts,
Furthermore, he is experienced in the full construction and execution of financial bonds (index linked, convertible, secured, unsecured) financial acquisition, mergers and acquisitions which have led to extensive work in the UAE and the Far East with provincial and municipal governments in China, and notably in Japan - in which he received a ‘Commendation of Achievement’ from the Mayor of Otaru 小樽市 (Japan), for his Strategic and Investment overview for a future port side regeneration program for the city of Otaru.

Brad Simmons

With over 40 years in the Oil & Gas Industry Mr. Simmons has built a number of successful oil companies including most recently Maverick Drilling & Exploration, where he co-founded and built a $7 Million family private enterprise into a public drilling and production company with a $600 Million market cap during his tenure and the top performing public company on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 2012. This was his fourth in a string of successful public oil companies over four decades.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Yale University in Administrative Science with emphasis on Finance. In addition to five individual and team World Championship gold medals, Brad also captained the Skeet and Trap Team at Yale to a National Championship, and in 1976, became the first US civilian shooter in 20 years to make the Olympic skeet team competing in Montreal.

Julius is the President and CEO of Portico Group Holdings Inc., a Canadian Company based in Ontario, Canada. Its core areas of business and services involve high-level strategic structuring for real estate development, infrastructure development, and commercializing innovative technologies. Portico connects high finance and private funds worldwide, and discreetly maintains international government and non-governmental organization relationships in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He has over 35 years of experience in various sectors in accounting (Deloitte), financial services, leading and creating non-profit organizations, capital stack structuring, community advocacy on behalf of migrant workers, and political involvement. His advocacy led him to run as a Canadian Member of Parliament for Mississauga Centre in 2015 and for York Centre by-election in 2020.
He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and Civic Awardee of the City of Mississauga for community involvement, and recognized by Bridgeway Foundation of Cambridge, Ontario as one of the Top Ten Innovators for Non-profit Organisations.
